The delegation of Baqir al-Olum University met and talked with the president, vice-presidents and professors of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Kufa University during their visit.
According to the public relations report of Baqir al-Olum University, in this meeting, Seyyed Hadi Sajedi, the head of International Affairs Department of Baqir al-Olum University discussed scientific-academic cooperation, signing joint memorandums of understanding, attracting international students, exchange of professors, skillfulness at thesis writing, joint research collaborations and scientific trips as the most important areas of cooperation between the two universities. He also emphasized on the quantitative and qualitative expansion of the level of cooperations.
Dr. Ahmad Rahdar, head of the Political Sciences department of Baqir al-Olum University also introduced the capabilities of the university and explained the fields of cooperation between the two universities.
Dr. Abdulkarim Nafakh, the head of the Faculty of Education of Kufa University, while warmly welcoming the presence of the professors and students of Baqir al-Olum University, explained the characteristics and capabilities of the Faculty of Education and Kufa University and how to interact with different universities in Iran.
The delegation of Baqir al-Olum University consist of professors and students of Regional Studies (specializing the Middle East and North Africa), who are writing theses after completing their courses. Trips to the countries of the West Asian region are planned and implemented for students as a supplement to their educational programs.
It should be mentioned that Kufa University has 20 faculties and the faculty of education of this university, which was established in 1987, includes four scientific groups including Arabic language, Islamic studies, physical education and children upbringing. This university has many interactions with different universities in Iran.
