Abstract:
Thoughts and ideas arising from the Islamic Revolution of Iran, like other social revolutions, did not remain in its scope. Soon after its establishment, it was transferred overseas. Various strategies in promoting the export of the Islamic Revolution during 36 years have always been considered by the authorities, which has been interwoven with opportunities and challenges.
Naturally, the Islamic Republic of Iran should change its strategies for exporting the revolution, in accordance with the age of awakening, in order to be more effective.
In other words, in the path of exporting the values of the revolution, the new regional and international space has placed additional accesses and bottlenecks on it. Therefore, new strategies must take advantage of both opportunities and overcome bottlenecks.
Also, what are the best strategies for exporting the revolution and what are the most important opportunities and challenges of the policy of exporting the Islamic Revolution in the new conditions caused by the Islamic awakening? And what are the appropriate strategies to promote it? And the purpose of this dissertation is to identify strategies that strengthen the possibility of exporting the Islamic Revolution in the current regional environment that arises from the process of Islamic awakening.
Accordingly, rather than seeking a descriptive or analytical understanding of the process of exporting the revolution, the dissertation aims to outline a specific strategy to strengthen Iran’s influence on the process of Islamic awakening of the Arab nations of the Middle East and North Africa.
Based on the SWOT analysis framework, this dissertation has analyzed the opportunities and challenges of the Islamic Revolution in the era of Islamic awakening.
In this regard, the dissertation, emphasizing that the cultural property of Iran’s national power is more effective than other components, has found the adoption of a strategy of cultural diplomacy helpful in achieving the goal.
Therefore, various dimensions of cultural diplomacy have been introduced, including media diplomacy, science, sports diplomacy, Hajj and religious rites, and urban diplomacy.
Furthermore, according to the analytical framework (swot), the most important strategy of forces threats under the title of diversity strategies (stability) include: 1. Using internal capacities against sanctions 2. Introducing Islamic culture to the youth . 3. Unity and consolidation between Islamic governments 4. Explaining, promoting and deepening the principles of pure Islam. 5. Emphasis on unity is around the teachings of Islam and the Qur’an instead of unity in the form of tribes and clans.
Also, the strategy of strengths and opportunities, called development strategies (aggressive), including: 1. Highlighting spirituality in foreign policy 2. Linking religion and politics in the international arena 3- Presenting an International model of Islam. 4. Trying to convey the message of Islam to the world. 5- Strengthening religious democracy in the region and the strategy of opportunities,
Weaknesses as integration strategies (stability) include: 1. Revealing the silence of the international community about human rights violations 2. The rapprochement between religions and the consolidation of common rituals. 3. Establishment of an independent human rights organization by Islamic countries. 4. Supporting moderate Islamists to overthrow extremist Islamists. 5. Strengthening the spirit of peace in the public opinion of the countries in the region as well as the strategy of threats,
Weaknesses as defence strategies (reduction) include: 1. Strengthening national cohesion and economic strength 2. Resistive economy 3. Strengthening national unity 4, strengthening and consolidating Islam’s educational and cultural foundations. 5. Strengthening the dialogue of civilizations has been identified.
