The two-week research fellowship program for PhD students from India was held with a series of specialized meetings, academic workshops, and joint sessions with the faculty members of Baqir al-Olum University (A). The program commenced with an opening ceremony at the Graduate Studies Council and concluded, at this stage, with the awarding of completion certificates and an appreciation ceremony for the supervising professors.

The program commenced with an official opening ceremony during the meeting of the University Graduate Studies Council, attended by university officials, heads of academic departments, and faculty members of Baqir al-Olum University (A).
In this meeting, following the formal introduction of both parties, the students’ diverse academic and research plans were reviewed.
In continuation of this two-week program, the supervising professors—Dr. Rahdar, Dr. Sotoudeh, and Dr. Bagheri—together with Dr. Khataminia, held specialized academic sessions with the PhD students from India.
It is noteworthy that these sessions focused on an in-depth review of the Indian students’ doctoral dissertations—such as the dissertation titled “The Impact of Imam Khomeini’s Islamic Revolution on Contemporary Iranian Youth.” The meetings also included facilitating academic communication in English, conducting chapter-by-chapter evaluations of the guests’ thesis topics in English, holding supplementary sessions, organizing joint meetings coordinated by the International Affairs Office, and convening a special academic–research workshop with the participation of faculty members from other universities, all centered on the dissertation topics of the Indian PhD students.

The closing ceremony of the research fellowship program was held in the presence of the esteemed President of the University, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Rafiei Alavi, the supervising professors, and the officials of the International Affairs Office, including Dr. Sajedi.
In this session, the Indian PhD students shared their academic and research experiences gained during the two-week program, after which the University President delivered remarks on the importance of expanding international academic cooperation.

At the closing ceremony of the program, appreciation was expressed to the supervising professors, and the Indian PhD students were presented with gifts. The official certificates of program completion were then awarded to them in the presence of Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Ranjbar, Head of the Department of Political Science at Baqir al-Olum University (A).
