How does the West evade its human rights obligations? Through a “war of concepts.” If there were no intellectual or conceptual basis allowing for this escape, they could not do it. They speak of “human rights” as a title but implement it as they wish. Therefore, it is unwise to abandon the conceptual challenges related to human rights.
