Intensive consultations between the Ministry of Science and Baqir al-Olum University and Iran’s Scientific and Cultural Attaché in Iraq were held. During the meeting, avenues for joint scientific cooperation and the organization of a Joint Science Week between humanities universities of Iran and Iraq were discussed and reviewed.

In a joint meeting held with the presence of officials from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and Baqir al-Olum University, together with the Scientific and Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, avenues for expanding scientific, cultural, and academic cooperation between the two countries were examined.
According to the Public Relations Office of Baqir al-Olum University, the meeting—held with the aim of strengthening joint scientific interactions and advancing scientific diplomacy—featured discussions on the capacities for trilateral cooperation among the Ministry of Science, Baqir al-Olum University, and Iraqi scientific and academic institutions.
One of the key focal points of the meeting was the proposal to organize a Joint Science Week among humanities universities of Iran and Iraq, which was highlighted as a significant key focus of these consultations.
