The president of Baqir al-Olum University and the Deputy Minister of Science of Iraq discussed the fields of bilateral cooperation during a joint meeting.
According to the public relations report of Baqir al-Olum University, At the beginning of this meeting, Shamsullah Mariji, the president of Baqir al-Olum University, referring to the goals, achievements and various fields of Baqir al-Olum University, said: this university has a special focus on training students that, in addition to being familiar with new human sciences, religious and Islamic concerns and national and their goal is to respond to the needs of the Islamic society.
The president of Baqir al-Olum University continued: The number of applicants to study in this university in some fields is ten times more than the admission quota for that field.
He added: Baqir al-Olum University by emphasizing the admission of talented and concerned people, prepares them to accept important scientific, executive and social influence responsibilities and to be a flow maker in social, cultural and managerial activities and programs.
Dr. Hazeem Baqer Taher, the Deputy Minister of Science of Iraq, while welcoming the presence of the president of Baqir al-Olum University and offering his greetings, said: our relationship with Iranian universities is a unique relationship and we have a close and good relationship with Baqir al-Olum University.
The Deputy Minister of Science of Iraq, emphasizing the development of scientific cooperation between Baqir al-Olum University and Iraqi universities and increasing the number of joint memorandums with them, called for the admission of talented Iraqi students in the form of scholarships.
He considered the pamphlets, articles and books published by Baqir al-Olum University to have a special place for the target society of Iraq and requested to submit a more complete report of the scientific outputs of this university to the Ministry of Science of Iraq.
