Another important concept is martyrdom. In our belief, heroes are not only influential when they are alive, but also after their death they continue to inspire society.
The blood of martyrs and commanders has strengthened the spirit of resistance against imperialism inside Iran and beyond.
Despite economic sanctions and serious difficulties, people continue to support the system. In sociology, it is often said that people may support revolutions but reject wars. However, in Iran, people have sometimes actively demanded continuation of resistance.
This shows that the revolution is still alive after five decades, and people see current events as part of its continuation.
One important issue is the youth. In recent years, many young people faced economic hardship and lost some revolutionary motivation. But this conflict has created a new atmosphere where younger generations are once again engaging with the ideas of resistance, meaning, and revolution.
